Two paver walkways. Both had settled. Both were holding water where they shouldn't. That's the kind of problem that only gets worse - and it's exactly the type of work we get called in to fix.

We pulled out both old paver sections entirely and started fresh. The customer needed this wrapped up by a specific deadline, and we hit it. New latte-colored concrete flatwork went in along the full length of the log home, following the natural curve of the landscape. Clean control joints, smooth broom finish, and proper grading so water actually moves away from the structure the way it should.

Here's the thing about paver walkways - they look great when they're new, but over time the base shifts, individual pieces sink, and gaps open up. Water finds those low spots and sits. That moisture can work its way toward your foundation if the grading is off. Replacing failing pavers with poured concrete flatwork gives you a single solid surface with no joints for individual pieces to drop out of and no gaps for water to pool in.

The latte color is a nice touch on this one too. It complements the warm tones of the log exterior without fighting for attention. Form and function together. That's what good concrete flatwork is supposed to do.

If your walkway is sinking, shifting, or collecting water in spots it shouldn't be, that's not going to fix itself. The longer it sits, the more the base continues to break down underneath. We do this kind of work routinely - demo the old surface, prep the base right, and pour concrete that's built to hold up and drain properly.
