Old, cracked concrete doesn't just look bad - it becomes a safety issue over time. This homeowner had both the front walkway and the backyard patio pulled out and replaced, and the difference is hard to miss. We went with Autumn Oak colored concrete, which gives the finished surface a warm, earthy tone that ties into the natural wood tones of the deck and home exterior.

The backyard portion sits right under an elevated deck, so the patio needed to work with the existing structure - posts, stairs, and all. We laid out clean, large slabs that fill the space properly and give it that polished, intentional look. No patchwork. No shortcuts. Just solid concrete flatwork done the right way.

Out front, the new walkway connects the driveway to the entry in a clean, straight run. The Autumn Oak color works really well against the stone veneer on the house and the dark trim - it all feels cohesive now instead of like an afterthought. That's the kind of detail that bumps up curb appeal in a real, noticeable way.

Concrete flatwork like this is one of those upgrades that does double duty. It looks great from day one, and it's built to hold up through years of freeze-thaw cycles without the cracking and heaving that comes with older, worn-out slabs. When you're doing it right, you're not just fixing a problem - you're making a long-term investment in the home.
