We got called out to a multi-unit apartment complex in Plover to replace three worn-out back patios. The old pads weren't cutting it - too small, beat up, and not doing much for the tenants who actually had to use them every day. The property owner wanted something bigger and cleaner, so that's exactly what we delivered.

Each unit got a fresh 12x12 concrete pad poured and finished right off the back sliding door. You can see in the forming stage how we set the lumber frames tight to the building and prepped the ground properly before a single yard of concrete went in. That prep work matters a lot - skip it and you're setting yourself up for settling and cracking down the road.

Once the forms were set across all three units, we poured and finished each slab with clean, consistent control joints. The new pads sit level with the door threshold and give tenants an actual usable outdoor space - room for a couple of chairs, a small table, whatever they need. Going from a cramped, deteriorating slab to a solid 12x12 pad is a noticeable upgrade for anyone living there.

For property owners and landlords, this kind of concrete flatwork improvement is a smart move. Nicer outdoor spaces help with tenant satisfaction and make the units more attractive to future renters. And a properly poured concrete pad - done right the first time - isn't something you'll be dealing with again for a long time.
